Current controls are A and D rotate the Lunar Lander and SPACEBAR engages the thruster.

Hello! Welcome to my little personal Sudo-Rocket Science project. This is a Unity project that I am working on to apply what I learn about C# and developing a game in Unity. All of the design, scripting, modeling and sound are done by me.

The story is this: The year is 1979. It's been 10 years since the Apollo moon landing happened and the market is ungodly saturated with Lunar Lander clones. It seems like any software company can just make a Lunar Lander clone and get away with it. Someone at Atari had a genius idea to do something that no one possibly could have ever dared to attempt - to make another Lunar Lander clone!

The 1979 Lunar Lander arcade cabinet from Atari was the most popular iteration on the Lunar Lander formula. It is accredited to two designers - Wendi Allen and Rich Moore. In my opinion, this is completely deserved due to the game's excellent build quality, engaging and incredibly high quality thruster lever, smooth and addictive gameplay, as well as the bone-shaking rumble the cabinet makes while piloting the lander.

Future plans:

Audio feedback pass for Lunar Lander messaging danger to players

Complete audio pass on UI and various other gameplay elements.

Pause Menu with controls display and audio menu

Different gameplay locations that randomize every play

Gameplay tuning

2nd game mode - Timed Ring Challenge with model rocket

Known issues:

Audio popping. The audio is current implemented in a very rough state. Little has been done on the Audio side of things as of right now.

If you fly too far upwards and to the side of the screen you will fall forever

Resolution may be a little wonky
